TOPOGRAPHIC AND MEASURED BUILDING SURVEY MANAGER FOR LONDON

A Land & Engineering Survey Manager with over 23 years of experience in the industry. Having previously worked for 15 years in a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy, Andy has experience in a wide range of survey disciplines undertaken as a Senior Land & Engineering Surveyor, Site Engineer, Project Manager and Survey Manager. Andy brings a large amount of experience to the London operation having undertaken largescale control network installation surveys, land & rail topographical surveys, rail kinematic laser scanning surveys, measured building surveys, modelling, PAS128 underground utilities mapping, monitoring, and UAV surveys.  His field and managerial experience encompasses survey environments including greenfield, highways, rail, military, prisons, marine, and construction. Andy has a Bachelor of Science – BSc focused in Hydrography from University of Plymouth.

Some of Andy’s career highlights include undertaking CAP232 Measured Heights Surveys for many of the RAF and RNAS aerodromes across the UK including Mount Pleasant in the Falkland Islands, leading a project to map the Royal Mail’s subterranean ‘MailRail’ Tunnel network under Central London as part of a feasibility study for the LUL ‘Cooling the Tube’ projects, and being heavily involved in the Crossrail project for the South-east section including Plumstead to Belvedere including the new Abbey Wood Station, and the Old Oak Common to Paddington Approach section.
