Warner Surveys is celebrating its 40th anniversary
Founded in 1979 by Rod Warner as a Land Survey company with a London Underground Surveying specialism, Warner Surveys, in 2019, is celebrating its 40th anniversary. From our first office in Goring-on-Thames, South Oxfordshire, we progressed through offices in Wallingford, Oxon and now on to our second head office in Theale, Reading.
Warner Surveys now sits as a well-regarded and well-known Land and Engineering Surveying company, with offices in Reading, London, Bristol, Birmingham and Kazakhstan. Over the years, our business has expanding into an exceptionally broad range of topographical and engineering surveying services. From topographic and construction site engineering, to industrial surveying, and movement, deformation and environmental monitoring. All supplemented by UAV’s, 3D Laser Scanning, Scan to BIM and Underground Utility surveys. Our exceptional team of 70 plus people in the UK, with more based in Kazakhstan and South Korea are our biggest asset.
In the time since Rod Warner himself retired from the business in 2000, Warner Surveys has been led by MD Peter Field and in 2018, following Peters retirement, long standing director David Hutson took the reins and is our current MD. David remains committed to continuing Rods and Peters legacy and his vision of an organisation focused on strong quality, consistency and thorough dedication to our customers.
As well as our Birmingham office opening in 2018 Warner Surveys also opened up two new survey departments. The UAV department (unmanned aerial vehicles) and the sub surface Utilities survey department. Both specialities support all our existing core departments and represent out continual drive to adopt and utilise the latest technologies in the survey industry. We have also recently signed a collaboration agreement with Satbayev University in Kazakhstan with the aim of developing a mutual and beneficial relationship, and to provide support to students.
It is with this in mind, that we are celebrating our 40th anniversary throughout 2019 and look forward to new challenges and opportunities that will come our way in the future.
