WS End of the Year Message from our MD David Hutson

The last twelve months have come and gone in a flash so as we draw towards the end of yet another busy year, it’s a good time to look back and see just how much we have achieved in 2018.

Warner Surveys continue to work to deliver the best outcome possible for our customers, with the focus on delivering high quality service to every project, from concept to completion.

Our drive this year has been on developing our ‘Quality and Communication’ offering to our customers, an ethos which has really taken hold on how we deliver.

We successfully opened an office in Birmingham in the summer and took the keys to a new larger office earlier this month located very close to the new HS2 Curzon Street station site. We are delighted to be able to offer our services to the Midlands and surrounding areas and are proud to employ locally based talent.

In addition to the new office in Birmingham, we are pleased to have recently welcomed two new managers to the company, both based in Birmingham, who signal the opening of two new service departments to add additional value to our services.

Our Underground Utilities Senior Survey Manager, Michael Wood, will be responsible for overseeing our subsurface utility detection activities.

Our UAV Manager, Adam Tate, will be using the latest unmanned aerial vehicle technology to collect data and provide various state of the art deliverables.

In May we exhibited at the Digital Construction Week (DCW) 2018 for the first time. The DCW aims to provide a platform for learning, discovery and networking across the architectural, engineering and construction industry. We also attended industry related events such as GEO Business in London, INTERGEO in Frankfurt and HxGN Live in Las Vegas.

During 2018 we have continued to participate in several successful and inspiring projects with renowned clients all over the UK and further afield in places such as Italy, Germany, and Azerbaijan. Our Kazakhstan and Korea teams continue to deliver high quality information to our clients on the FGP project.

On a personal note, back in June I was privileged to be appointed Managing Director of Warner Surveys, after the retirement of Peter Field.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for choosing to work with us throughout the year, and hope that we will have another chance in the future to further develop our relationship on great projects where we will dedicate our best to meet your expectations.

Finally, we wish a wonderful Christmas and a prosperous and healthy New Year to you and your families.

Your sincerely,
David Hutson
Managing Director – Warner Surveys.
