KEY JOB PURPOSE
Carry out works on site & in the office as delegated to him/her by senior members of staff. To carry out those works to WLSL standards & procedures for surveying, Health & Safety, Quality Assurance & Environmental Policies. Additionally you must be:
*Competent in undertaking Land, Measured Building, Verified View, Right of Light Surveys, etc.
*Able to use the 3D Laser Scanner ON SITE. Assistance may be required for processing & drawing up.
*Able to undertake basic setting out duties, from smaller, eg houses, to piles / profiles on larger sites. Includes understanding/installation of primary, secondary & tertiary control – and when to use each.
Good interpersonal skills are required. You will also be:
*Competent in all aspects of land & measured building surveys.
*Familiar with all aspects of construction engineering survey techniques.
*Experienced in the use of surveying software, preferably N4ce. Key TerraFIRMA knowledge would be useful.
*An experienced AutoCAD user. Bentley Microstation knowledge would be useful.
*Familiar with Leica survey equipment & Viva operating system/applications.
*Able to travel around the UK, with a focus on London & South East (Full UK Driving License required).
*Able to prioritise & meet deadlines.
NOTE: Minimum 2 years’ UK experience required.
