Building Information Models (BIM) – Building on 30+ Years of Survey Experience

Warner Surveys is well placed to undertake your BIM project. Since 1979, we have developed our experience working with and producing 3D CAD models of buildings and plant in the sectors we serve. It’s only recently that the label BIM has been applied to what we have been producing for many years. We have combined this modelling experience with our traditional measured building survey background to be able to offer a full BIM resource to all our clients.

3D Laser Scanning – Scan to BIM

We use the latest 3D laser scanning technology to survey the target building or structure. Our managers and surveyors will collaborate with your project team to ensure suitable levels of detail are surveyed and modelled.

Strategic Worldwide Alliances

In addition to our in-house resource, we have established a number of strategic alliances with key companies worldwide within the architectural / industrial BIM sector to give us strong BIM management. As well as being able to produce models in-house when needed, our CAD team is fully trained to be able to carry out full QA/QC on the output received by our clients from other BIM CAD specialists.

Revit – Bentley – Synchro – Tekla

We can model in all the major BIM software formats, including Autodesk Revit, Bentley Architecture, Synchro, Tekla BIMsight and others.

Example Projects

Example projects we have worked on include the complete survey and resultant BIM of Battersea Power Station, a 300+ room set of Georgian buildings in Carey St, London, an Art Deco building in Bloomsbury, London and many others.
